About

I began writing when I was about 8 years old or so. It was the early 1980’s and there was no Internet. No Netflix, no smartphones, no tablets, no smartwatches. If we wanted entertainment, by and large, we had to make our own. And so, that’s what I did. I started writing my own stories. Mostly to amuse and entertain myself. At first. But soon I was sharing these handwritten pages with friends, who looked forward to reading each installment. I learned that I could create entire worlds with my words. It was a liberating experience and it felt fulfilling.I write fiction in multiple genres, everything from Science Fiction to Thrillers, Mystery and Fantasy. And some that are difficult to categorize. For example, I write a specialized genre of spiritual fiction that I call “Sikh Fiction” (for lack of a better label).

Metamorphosis

Gurpreet just wants to live a normal life, but no matter how hard he tries to relinquish his identity and blend in with the crowd, he still stands out. Troubled by the undesired role he is apparently being made to play by society, he drifts farther and farther away from friends, family, and his own self. Meanwhile, his friends and acquaintances are on journeys of their own. A Serialized novella.
